Abstarct: Due to the increase in society's general desire for university education, higher education centers have increased dramatically; This issue has caused an increase in the number of non-native students in each region. One of the essentials needed by these students is shelter for accommodation. In this way, student dormitories play an important role in the communication and interaction of people from different cultures and societies of the country. For societies like this, where the need for respect and deep understanding of different cultures is felt, the intercultural approach is used. Intercultural interactions as a public and ethical behavior help to strengthen a fairer, more diverse, free and fair society. On the other hand, the architecture of any society is a way to represent the cultural symbols and worldview of its people. As a result, culture and its symbols are transmitted and taught through sustainable architecture and buildings. In this way, knowing the factors influencing intercultural interactions is one of the necessities of university education. The main goal of this research is to investigate the impact of sustainable architectural factors from a social and cultural perspective on intercultural interactions and also to provide solutions to increase it. The method of collecting information in this research is descxriptiveanalytical and it has been done in two parts of library and field studies. In the department of library studies, independent variable indicators of sustainable architecture from a social and cultural point of view, which are "Participation", "Physical", "Economic", "Population", "Diversity", "Environmental" and "Identity". Also, indicators of the dependent variable of intercultural interactions, including "empathy", "awareness", "self-knowledge", "expanding dialogue", "mutual respect", "altruism" and "justice and equality" were extracted. In the field studies department, using the obtained indicators, a questionnaire was prepared and distributed among the students living in Haft Tir dormitory of Shahrood University of Technology. Further, according to the calculations of Pearson's correlation test and simple linear regression in SPSS 24 software, respectively, four factors "diversity", "population", "physical" and "economic" were identified as having a significant relationship with intercultural interactions. In the end, according to the known factors, solutions such as diversity of uses and access routes, creating flexible spaces for all cultures, the possibility of monitoring residents to different parts of the dormitory, elements for the revival of different cultures, creating privacy or solitude It was presented in the room and... to increase intercultural interactions.
